Your questions answered

What will my first session be like?

During your first visit, we will take time out to discuss you, your needs, your medical history, any existing illnesses or issues and what you hope to achieve out of our sessions together.

Please allow additional time for this on your first visit.

Medical Conditions

In order to stay safe and nurtured during your treatment, some medical conditions may restrict the type of treatment I can offer, which is why I ask you to complete a brief questionnaire during your first appointment.

In most cases, I can adjust the treatment to accommodate you, but if you have a medical condition, or are pregnant, and would like to discuss the options available to you, I am happy to offer guidance over the phone. As with all my clients, all information is kept private and confidential **

To keep everyone safe, I ask all clients to:

  • Postpone visiting the therapy room if you or a household member have a fever, COVID-19 symptoms or a contagious illness.

  • Postpone visiting the therapy room if you are waiting for a COVID test result, self-isolating, under an isolation or quarantine order/directive.

  • Respect the sanitation, hygiene standards and processes within the treatment room.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Please try to provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel for any reason so I can offer the appointment time to other clients. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or repeat cancellations, you may be charged up to 50% of the treatment cost.

What do I wear?

Waar something comfortable. Some treatments require you to undress such as massage and spinal touch therapy, while reflexology only requires the removal of socks and shoes. A therapist will usually tell you what to keep on or take off, but if you are not comfortable or are unsure – speak up!

You should undress to your comfort level. You will be draped appropriately with a sheet for the entire session, and a therapist will only uncover the area of your body being worked on at the time. It is perfectly acceptable to wear your underwear for your treatment.
