If you have any lingering questions, my "Frequently Asked Questions" section is ready to guide you with clear and reassuring answers. Simple Meditation Techniques ...
With a solid foundation in place, you're now ready to explore the different ways you can bring meditation into your life. Meditation isn’t a one-size-fits-all practice; there are many paths to choose from, each offering unique benefits and experiences. To help you find your footing, I’ve curated a selection of five simple techniques that are perfect for beginners.

In this section, you’ll find clear and concise guides on these practices: Basic Breathing Meditation, Mindful Eating Meditation, Body Scan Meditation, Mantra Meditation, and Focus Meditation. These techniques are designed to be accessible and easy to incorporate into your daily routine. Take a moment to read through each one and consider which resonates most with you. Remember, there’s no right or wrong choice—just the one that feels right for you.
Now that you’ve familiarised yourself with the different meditation techniques, it’s time to put them into practice. I’ve created a series of 10-minute guided meditation videos, each tailored to one of the techniques you’ve just learned about. These sessions will gently guide you through Basic Breathing Meditation, Mindful Eating Meditation, Body Scan Meditation, Mantra Meditation, and Focus Meditation.

As a special treat, I’ve also included a bonus meditation—‘Floating on a Cloud’—a calming visualisation that will transport you to a place of deep relaxation.

I encourage you to try each of these guided meditations at your own pace. You might find that one resonates more with you, or perhaps you’ll enjoy a mix depending on your mood and needs. The key is to explore and discover what feels best for you.
10-Minute Guided Meditations ...
1
The breath is always with you. When you practice meditation and breathing, you gain a tool you can use whenever you need to relax, quiet and clear the mind.
2
We can tune in to our bodies, become aware of the sensations, emotions, and thoughts, listening to our internal sense of what our bodies need to be nourished.
3
Checking in will develop a mindful awareness of your bodily sensations and relieve tension, helping us take better care of our bodies and make healthier decisions.
4
Give the mind an object to focus on, making it easier to steady the mind. Meanings soothe the senses, bring deeper presence and awareness, and promote healing.
5
As the eyes are open for this practice, it’s a good option if you have a wandering mind. By concentrating on a physical object, it can be easier to stay focused.
6
BONUS
This relaxing guided meditation is a calming visualisation that will guide you to imagine floating on a cloud, just like you were a kid again.
Create a healthy habit ...
You’ve now had the chance to explore different meditation techniques, and hopefully, you’ve found one or two that resonate with you. The next step is to turn your practice into a healthy habit—something that becomes a natural part of your daily routine. Research shows that it takes 21 days to form a habit, and I'm here to help you make meditation a regular part of your life.

To support you in this journey, I’ve created a downloadable and printable 21-day meditation plan. This resource is designed to guide you through the next three weeks, offering daily prompts and encouragement to help you stay consistent. By following this plan, you’ll be able to effortlessly weave meditation into your life, building a habit that nurtures your mind, body, and soul.
This plan is structured to gradually increase both the time spent meditating and the depth of the practice, making it a perfect fit for beginners. You can choose to use the guided meditations or go with them alone for the suggested time.
No Excuses! Even if you are busy, you can find a few minutes each day to embed your practice. It’s designed to be easily printable too, so you can tick off your progress as you go!

By following this plan, you’ll gently build a meditation habit that feels natural and sustainable. Whether you’re breathing deeply, walking mindfully, or visualising peace, you’re nurturing your mind, body, and soul every day.

…and finally, as you continue to build your meditation habit, one simple tip can make all the difference: set a timer. Whether you’re meditating for two minutes or ten, a timer helps you stay focused and prevents you from checking the clock. It’s a small step that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the practice without distraction. You can use your phone, a meditation app, or even a gentle kitchen timer—whatever works best for you.

To further support your journey, I’ve included links to a few helpful blogs. Take a moment to explore them, and remember—meditation is a journey, not a destination.
You’ve got this.
